Now that we’ve crowned the EBL, EMEA Masters and LEC champions, it’s time for a new season of the SIGMA CUP, the hottest winter League of Legends action!
EBL (Balkan), Hitpoint (Czech Republic) and GLL (Greece) will cross swords in the fight for the title of the second ever SIGMA champion and the lions share of the 18,000 euros prize fund!

How can YOU play? Easy, get your team ready, sign up for open qualifiers and stand side by side with other EBL teams in the fight for a direct spot to the LAN or gauntlet stage.
When does it start? The open qualifiers will be played on the weekend of September 23 and 24, while the first stage of the EBL SIGMA CUP starts on Wednesday, September 28. The qualification format will be single elimination, and the two Open Qualifier champions continue their journey together with all the other EBL teams.

The format is pretty straight-forward. Diamant and Partizan, as the two best teams this year, go directly to the Final 4 stage, while all the others fight in the two playoff brackets, ranked by annual success (championship points), and the winners of both play against Diamant and Partizan to advance.
After we sort out who’s going to represent the Balkans, the champion of this stage goes directly to the LAN, while the runner-up goes to a play-off with the second-placed teams from Greece and the Czech Republic, where the last LAN team will be decided at the beginning of November.
